This active powder originates a detergent and disinfectant solution for medical devices.

Power Drox represents a safe system for the production of solutions for decontamination, virucidal disinfectant and high level disinfectant (cold sterilization). Power Drox guarantees both an antibacterial and a  cleansing action, increased by  the effect of enzymes charge that break up organic remains and by an anti-corrosion and anti-sediment action. Power Drox is a hygroscopic powder.

Dosage: 5g/litre of water at 28-30°C for a basic cleansing and disinfectant action.

20g/litre of water at 38°C max for high level disinfection (cold sterilization).

Power Drox can be used by dissolving it in tap water according to the following instructions:

Pour the dosage of Power Drox in the water (start activation)
Shake until a consistent amount of the power is dissolved (at least 2-3 minutes)
Wait 10 minutes (30 minutes in case of high level disinfection, cold sterilization) to allow the consolidation of the activation.
At this point the solution is ready to be used. The contact times of the devices to be disinfected with Power Drox solution may vary from 5 to 10 minutes (10 minutes for high level disinfection, cold sterilization).

These solutions are neither toxic nor irritating and they do not release gas in the environment. They are biodegradable and their disposal is quite simple because their active ingredient deterioration is made through acetic acid, oxygen and water.

These solutions can be used on normal disinfection bowls, on ultrasound devices or disinfector tools.
